Our client: a global consulting firm is looking for an Operations Excellence Manager to oversee all operational facets, from job initiation to revenue monitoring and reporting.
The role: Manage day-to-day operations and serve as a secondary point of contact for MEA regional leadership, partners, principals, and other stakeholders. Support the director in operational functions and identify areas for continuous improvement such as process enhancements and automation. Maintain project pipeline and revenue forecasts in conjunction with the Finance function. Lead monthly unit revenue forecast preparation and monitor revenue against projections. Provide insights on month-end results and variances versus forecasts and address potential business risks. Collaborate with HR to develop and implement tools and processes for optimal consultant allocation based on business needs. Analyze demand and supply, identifying gaps and proposing solutions. Develop and implement tools for transparent measurement of unit realization and profitability. Implement strategies to maximize realization and mitigate revenue slippage, ensuring timesheet compliance. Oversee management of engagement documentation and compliance with finance policies. Lead implementation and consistency of operations policies, processes, and guidelines. Ensure proper utilization of tools like SAP and support practices in invoicing and cash collection. Drive initiatives such as senior time process, timesheet automation, forecasting tool implementation, internal tools automation, and investment tracking.
Must Haves: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in operational excellence activities. Must have an analytical background, a mix of business sense, HR and Finance understanding. Must have an analytical background and be able to accurately run analysis, reporting, use analytical tools such as MS Excel.
