A well-established Food Manufacturing business growing at a rapid pace by continuously evolving its “thought” and “strategy” is looking for a seasoned Head of Trade Marketing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The organization is undergoing a significant transformation, prioritizing enhanced structure, and sustained growth. As part of this strategic shift towards diversity and expansion, the company seeks a dynamic individual to spearhead this initiative and play a pivotal role in its transformation and growth journey.

Forming the Trade Marketing function and teams from the ground up, this opportunity is suited to someone who is a real go-getter.

Working closely with the sales and commercial team, the Head of Trade Marketing will have the responsibility for developing the trade marketing department, and trade strategy and executing all shopper-related activities to achieve revenue and profit targets. Collect market feedback, insights, issues, and trends about the customer and trade environment to input into marketing plans. You will deliver clear briefs to execute promotional activity with key stakeholders and have complete ownership of retail benchmarking and tailoring concepts that help the customer grow, based on true insights. Design and spearhead channel and customer-specific promotions and activations.

Introduce and promote new and existing categories to existing and potential retail partners, securing optimal shelf space and positioning. Build and nurture relationships with key retailers, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge to champion the brand and categories. Foster cross-departmental collaboration. Manage and allocate the trade and shopper marketing budget and take on full P&L responsibility. Drive cost-efficient and high-impact campaigns to maximize ROI.

Must Haves:

Bachelor, master’s, or MBA Degree.
A minimum of 6+ years in trade marketing and shopper marketing roles, Previous experience in establishing Trade Marketing functions from the ground up is highly desirable. With proven experience in establishing end-to-end Trade Marketing activities and launching new categories, or products. Proficient in deriving actionable strategies from shoppers and market insights. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills. Deep experience in the Kingdom and fluency in English and Arabic.
