Job Description

Your role : Responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic logistics initiatives aimed at delivering value-added solutions . You will play a key role in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction by leveraging your expertise in logistics management and supply chain optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing and implementing logistics solutions for complex supply chain operations. Review transportation optimization, network design, capacity planning, carrier collaboration, systems, processes, lean services and capability building etc. Drive multiple high-value transportation efficiency projects regionally , partner closely with regional teams to drive efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, technology, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution of logistics solutions across the organization.

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, to drive collaboration and foster long-term partnerships. Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of logistics solutions and track performance against targets, providing regular updates to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency across the logistics function. Act as a subject matter expert on logistics and supply chain management, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.

Must have :

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of10+years of experience in logistics management, with a track record of success in developing and implementing logistics solutions for complex operations. Prior or current experience with globally known organizations in the logistics industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive decision-making.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.

Deep understanding of logistics processes, industry trends, and best practices, with experience in transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in logistics management software and systems, with experience implementing and optimizing technology solutions to support logistics operations.
