Our Client:
Our client is an established international logistics and distribution business with a strong global footprint, offering end-to-end solutions across courier, freight, and e-commerce logistics. With a growing presence in the region, they operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where operational efficiency and financial discipline are critical to success.
Your Role:
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end finance function in a hands-on capacity, ensuring strong financial control while partnering closely with operations and leadership to drive performance.
- Lead month-end closing, financial reporting, and MIS preparation
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management
- Ensure accuracy of financial records, compliance, and internal controls
- Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting efficiency
- Partner with operations teams to support cost control and profitability
- Coordinate audits, VAT filings, and statutory requirements
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, and general ledger
Must-Have:
- 6–10 years of experience in finance/accounting roles
- Prior experience in logistics, courier, freight, or distribution environments preferred
- Strong grounding in financial reporting, accounting, and operational finance
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment
- Currently based in the UAE or with prior GCC experience preferred
- Ideally coming from a Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager background ready for a step-up role
