Our client is a growing consumer goods organization with ambitious plans to strengthen its market position and accelerate growth across Egypt. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a commercially driven leader to take full ownership of the country operation and drive sustainable business performance.

Your Role

We are looking for a seasoned business leader who understands that growth comes from strong execution, disciplined route-to-market strategies, capable distributor networks, operational excellence, and staying close to customers. This is a role for someone who has led a business, not just a function.

You will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, market expansion, distributor performance, operational continuity, and overall business results across Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall business strategy and growth agenda in Egypt.
  • Drive commercial performance across customers, distributors, and channels.
  • Strengthen route-to-market effectiveness and market coverage.
  • Lead both commercial and operational teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Manage profitability, business performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive business transformation, capability building, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure strong execution standards across the organization.
  • Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.

Must-Have

  • Experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, Managing Director, Business Unit Head, or senior commercial leader with full business responsibility.
  • Strong background in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or related sectors.
  • Proven ownership of P&L and business performance.
  • Experience leading both commercial and operational functions.
  • Deep understanding of distributor-led business models and route-to-market strategy.
  • Track record of driving growth, market expansion, and business transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
