Our Client
Our client is a well-established consumer business with a strong footprint across Saudi Arabia. As the market continues to evolve, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial leadership with a National Sales Manager who understands how growth is built in the Kingdom — through disciplined route-to-market execution, strong distributor and wholesale partnerships, effective direct distribution, and consistent in-market execution.

Role Overview
The National Sales Manager will lead the sales agenda across Saudi Arabia, driving performance across General Trade, Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, discounters, wholesale, and HoReCa channels. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that sustainable growth comes from strong execution on the ground, effective channel management, and disciplined commercial leadership across every region and customer segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national sales performance across KSA, with ownership of volume, revenue, profitability, and product mix
  • Drive direct distribution and van sales performance, ensuring strong route quality, outlet coverage, productivity, and execution standards
  • Develop and execute channel strategies across General Trade, Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, wholesale, discounters, and HoReCa
  • Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, key retail accounts, and foodservice customers
  • Manage forecasting, trade investments, and commercial discipline to ensure profitable growth
  • Lead regional sales teams and frontline managers across the Kingdom, driving accountability and execution excellence
  • Monitor market trends, customer dynamics, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Improve route-to-market effectiveness and market coverage across all channels
  • Ensure strong sales governance, reporting, and performance management practices

Must-Have

  • 15+ years of experience within the food industry
  • Strong background across General Trade, Traditional Trade, wholesale, Modern Trade, discounters, and HoReCa channels
  • Hands-on experience managing direct distribution and van sales models
  • Strong understanding of route-to-market execution, distributor management, and frontline sales leadership
  • Experience within food, frozen food, dairy, or related FMCG categories preferred
  • Strong commercial capability across target delivery, trade spend management, collections, pricing, and business performance
  • Proven track record leading large-scale sales operations within Saudi Arabia
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive execution and accountability across geographically dispersed teams
  • Must meet current Saudization eligibility requirements in line with workforce localization objectives
