Our Client:
Our client is a growing international food and FMCG business with regional operations headquartered in Dubai. As the business continues to expand across the GCC and international markets, they are looking to hire a commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead brand growth, trade marketing, digital expansion, and category development initiatives across the region.
Your Role:
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the overall marketing and category growth strategy across UAE and GCC markets, with ownership across brand marketing, trade marketing, retail activations, digital, e-commerce, quick-commerce, and product launches. This is a build-and-scale role requiring both strategic thinking and strong execution capability within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the regional brand and category growth strategy across snacks, sweets, namkeen, and packaged food portfolios
- Driving integrated marketing plans across brand, trade, retail, digital, e-commerce, and quick-commerce channels
- Managing trade marketing activities including JBPs, BDAs, retail activations, visibility campaigns, promotions, and sell-out programs
- Partnering closely with sales and distributor teams to improve secondary sales, off-take, and market share growth
- Managing marketing budgets, A&P spends, and ROI tracking across campaigns and channels
- Driving marketplace and quick-commerce growth across major online and delivery platforms
- Leading festive and culturally relevant campaigns including Ramadan, Eid, Diwali, gifting, and seasonal activations
- Supporting product launches through end-to-end GTM planning, visibility, sampling, and trial-to-repeat conversion
- Utilizing consumer insights, market intelligence, and analytics to strengthen category and channel performance
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and regional leadership teams
- Managing agency partners and helping build scalable regional marketing execution frameworks
Must-Have:
- 10–12 years of FMCG marketing experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of UAE/GCC market exposure
- Strong experience across brand marketing, trade marketing, and digital/e-commerce
- Hands-on experience with UAE retail activations, JBPs, BDA negotiations, and quick-commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of UAE/GCC retail and consumer landscape
- Strong commercial orientation with comfort around ROI, P&L, and category performance
- Experience within snacks, biscuits, confectionery, impulse food, packaged food, or related FMCG categories
- Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced and growth-oriented business environments
- Strong stakeholder management, execution capability, and communication skills
Good-to-Have:
- MBA in Marketing from a strong institution
- GCC regional exposure beyond UAE
- Experience with quick-commerce and marketplace growth strategies
- Experience within festive, gifting, or culturally driven consumption categories
- Experience working within challenger brands or high-growth FMCG businesses
