Job Description
Our Client
Our client is a well-established FMCG business with strong brand recognition across South Asian consumer markets and growing international ambitions. As part of its next phase of expansion, the company is investing heavily in strengthening its Middle East business and building a more structured, scalable regional commercial operation from Dubai.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Head of Sales Middle East to lead and scale the business across the region. Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the CEO, International Business, this role carries full commercial responsibility for distributor partnerships, retail expansion, off-take growth, pricing discipline, and market execution across multiple Middle East markets.
This is not a traditional key account or distributor management role. The mandate requires a highly entrepreneurial FMCG sales leader who can operate like a regional business owner and build long-term market scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall commercial strategy and sales growth across the Middle East region.
- Build, strengthen, and manage distributor partnerships across multiple GCC and Middle East markets.
- Drive both primary and secondary sales performance with strong execution discipline.
- Expand retail presence across ethnic trade, modern trade, and broader retail environments.
- Improve market penetration, availability, visibility, and off-take performance.
- Manage pricing strategy, margins, inventory discipline, and route-to-market effectiveness.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities, channels, and geographies.
- Work closely with distributors and retail partners to drive sustainable business growth.
- Act as the regional commercial owner with strong accountability for business performance and market development.
Must-Have
- 10–15 years of FMCG sales experience.
- Strong experience managing distributor-led businesses across the Middle East.
- Proven exposure to ethnic, export, or international market environments.
- Strong understanding of regional trade dynamics, pricing, and commercial execution.
- Experience building market presence and scaling business operations, not just managing existing accounts.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in high-accountability environments.
- Experience within snacks, biscuits, confectionery, impulse foods, or adjacent packaged food categories is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of both ethnic and mainstream retail environments will be highly valued.
