A rapidly growing international FMCG food business is strengthening its presence across the United States and is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead growth across the West Coast region. The business is focused on expanding retail reach, building stronger distributor networks, and increasing visibility across mainstream, ethnic, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Your Role
As Sales Manager – West Coast, you will be responsible for driving regional sales growth, managing distributor partnerships, and expanding channel presence across key West Coast markets. You will work closely with retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to strengthen execution, improve product availability, and grow market share across the territory.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance across the West Coast region and deliver revenue, volume, and market share targets
- Manage distributor relationships and support expansion across retail, wholesale, and ethnic trade channels
- Execute route-to-market strategies to improve product availability and in-store visibility across assigned territories
- Support new product launches, promotional activities, and pricing alignment across key accounts
- Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and regional trade partners to strengthen market penetration
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer dynamics to identify growth opportunities
- Coordinate with supply chain and demand planning teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and distribution execution
- Prepare sales forecasts, market updates, and performance reports while supporting distributor sales teams on execution standards
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in FMCG sales, distributor management, or regional sales roles
- Strong experience within the US FMCG market, preferably on the West Coast
- Proven track record of driving sales growth across distributor-led and retail environments
- Experience handling key accounts, distributors, and multi-state territories
- Strong understanding of mainstream retail, ethnic trade, wholesale, and e-commerce channels
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and commercial execution skills
- Experience in trade promotions, pricing, and route-to-market execution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented business environment
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
