Job Description

We seek a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead our client’s organization in the food business. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s direct distribution teams and all channels in the assigned country. Your primary objective will be to drive business growth, increase market share, and ensure the overall success of our consumer goods products within the country.

Your Role:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Define sales and distribution targets and create plans to achieve them.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing direct distribution team.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the team members to ensure their professional development.
  • Establish clear performance objectives and KPIs, and regularly evaluate team performance.

Channel Management:

  • Oversee and optimize the company’s distribution channels, including wholesalers, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint business plans, negotiate terms, and manage relationships effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate channel performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales growth by developing effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Analyze sales data, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the country’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
  • Implement cost-control measures and optimize profitability.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market trends, and business expansion activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the global management team, providing updates on country-specific operations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution channels, sales strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
