Our Client
A leading Saudi business operating in a commodity-led FMCG environment is looking to appoint a Head of Growth to strengthen commercial performance, sharpen market execution, and build a more disciplined growth engine across the business.

This is not a traditional marketing role. Nor is it a pure strategy seat. The role sits where pricing, channels, trade investment, route-to-market, distribution, and demand generation collide.

Your Role
You will work across commercial, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to identify where growth is being created, where margin is leaking, and where the business needs to evolve.

The market has shifted. Traditional trade dynamics are changing. Discounters are growing. Commodity volatility is putting pressure on pricing and margin structures. The business needs someone who understands how to grow profitably within these realities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead growth strategy across channels, customers, and product portfolios
  • Strengthen route-to-market effectiveness and channel execution
  • Drive pricing, pack architecture, and promotional effectiveness with clear commercial logic
  • Build frameworks around trade investment, customer profitability, and revenue growth management
  • Partner with sales teams to improve distribution quality, visibility, and execution standards
  • Work closely with finance and supply chain to align growth plans with margin and working capital objectives
  • Identify market opportunities, channel gaps, and competitive risks across Saudi Arabia
  • Support development of customer, category, and channel specific growth plans
  • Build reporting and performance visibility around growth KPIs, trade spend, and commercial effectiveness

Must Have

  • 10+ years of experience across FMCG, commodity-led businesses, or large-scale distribution environments
  • Strong exposure to commercial strategy, growth, route-to-market, or revenue growth management
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi market across modern trade, traditional trade, and wholesale channels
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, margin, trade terms, and customer economics
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, supply chain, and operations
  • Ability to balance growth ambition with operational and commercial discipline
  • Strong analytical capability with hands-on approach to execution and market realities

This role requires someone who understands that sustainable growth is built through commercial discipline, operational clarity, and market execution — not just bigger sales targets.
