Role Overview:
You will be driving the procurement activities within the organization. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services needed for real estate and construction projects. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Operations: Source suppliers, negotiate prices, finalize contracts, and ensure quality standards.
- Vendor Management: Maintain supplier relationships, conduct evaluations, and resolve issues.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure policy compliance, maintain records, and prepare reports.
- Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with Finance.
- Coordination and Communication: Work with project managers, provide updates, and liaise with the warehouse team.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and recommend new suppliers.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in procurement, preferably in construction or real estate.
- Certifications: Procurement or Supply Chain Management certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in procurement software, strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Competencies: Analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, proactive and results-oriented.
