Job Description
Our client: a dynamic and experienced Retail Director to lead our hypermarket retail division with a specialized focus on bakery products.
The role: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hypermarket retail outlets. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and maximize profitability. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards across all retail locations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective measures as needed. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality bakery products and negotiate favorable terms. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote bakery products and drive sales. Monitor industry trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product innovation and expansion. Develop annual budgets and sales forecasts for the hypermarket retail division. Monitor financial performance against budget and take proactive measures to control costs and improve profitability.
Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in hypermarket retail operations, preferably with experience in managing bakery product categories. Strong business acumen and financial management skills. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team building and development. Saudi market experience is a must.
