Our client: A well-established consumer goods organization with ambitious growth plans for the future. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to drive commercial success and deliver profitable business growth. You would be responsible for the Lower gulf.

Responsibilities: As the Head of Sales, you will lead the commercial function, focusing on delivering profitable business growth through a solid Go-to-Market strategy that aligns with the company’s vision. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing strategic sales planning and marketing initiatives, including analyzing different market sectors, competitor strategies, and optimal routes to market.
  • Developing and recommending product positioning and pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share and company profitability.
  • Leading and developing an experienced, high-performing sales team, setting standards across the sales function.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to develop a 5-year growth strategy and aligning Go-to-Market strategies with the company’s vision.
  • Establishing strong collaboration across all functions to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Demonstrating exceptional understanding of business and market dynamics in consumer channels.
  • Training and developing sales personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Setting and tracking key sales KPIs to measure and drive sales activity.
  • Managing very complex sales operations effectively.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 18+ years of quality sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on FMCG and devising Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across all functions.
  • Exceptional understanding of business and market dynamics in consumer channels.
  • Experience in training and developing sales personnel to drive performance.
  • Proficiency in setting and tracking key sales KPIs to measure and drive sales activity.
  • Ability to manage very complex sales operations efficiently.
