Our Client
A leading FMCG organization in the region is looking for an accomplished Associate Director – Engineering & Maintenance to lead engineering, maintenance, reliability, and asset performance across its manufacturing operations.
Role Overview
You will set the engineering and maintenance direction across multiple manufacturing sites, with responsibility for improving equipment reliability, plant availability, utilities performance, and engineering standards.
The mandate also covers major CAPEX projects, automation, continuous improvement, and building strong engineering capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering, maintenance, reliability, and asset management strategy across manufacturing sites.
- Improve OEE, MTBF and MTTR through preventive, predictive and reliability-led maintenance.
- Oversee plant utilities, infrastructure, shutdowns, technical troubleshooting, and CMMS effectiveness.
- Lead engineering CAPEX from feasibility and design through installation and commissioning.
- Drive TPM, RCM, Lean, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop multidisciplinary engineering teams while ensuring strong HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of engineering and maintenance experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or continuous process industries.
- Minimum 8 years in senior engineering leadership, ideally with multi-site responsibility.
- Strong exposure to reliability engineering, utilities, CAPEX, CMMS, TPM and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and operational improvement initiatives.
- Advanced English; working knowledge of Arabic.
