The business is focused on expanding distribution, scaling retail partnerships, growing channel presence, and building stronger market penetration across mainstream, ethnic, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Your Role

As Head of Sales – USA, you will lead the commercial strategy and sales operations for the market with full ownership of revenue growth, distributor management, and channel expansion. You will drive national sales performance, strengthen key customer relationships, and expand market coverage across retail and distribution networks. The role requires a highly execution-focused leader who understands the complexity of the US FMCG landscape and multi-state distribution models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall sales operations across the US market and deliver targets across revenue, volume, profitability, and market share
  • Develop and execute national sales and route-to-market strategies across retail, wholesale, foodservice, e-commerce, and distributor channels
  • Build, manage, and optimize distributor partnerships and key retail relationships to improve market penetration and execution standards
  • Drive new product launches, promotional programs, pricing alignment, and category visibility across multiple channels
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain, demand planning, and marketing teams to ensure smooth forecasting, inventory flow, and commercial execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing structures, and customer dynamics to identify growth opportunities and commercial risks
  • Lead negotiations with distributors, retailers, and key accounts covering pricing, rebates, promotional plans, and annual commercial agreements
  • Build and lead high-performing sales teams while improving distributor capability, reporting standards, and sales effectiveness across regions

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in FMCG sales, national account management, or commercial leadership roles
  • Strong experience within the US FMCG market is mandatory
  • Proven track record of delivering high growth across retail, wholesale, or distributor-led environments
  • Experience managing national distributors, key accounts, and multi-state sales operations
  • Strong understanding of mainstream retail, ethnic channels, club stores, wholesale, and e-commerce environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation and relationship management capabilities
  • Experience in pricing strategy, trade promotions, category management, and route-to-market execution
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-driven business environment
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and business planning capabilities with data-driven decision-making skills
