Our client is a growing company in FMCG space. They are tightening their commercial disciplines and sharpening how they manage categories. This role sits at the center of that shift, helping the business make smarter decisions on what to sell, how to price, and how to partner with suppliers to drive profitable growth.
Your Role
As Portfolio Manager- Dairy, you will be responsible for the overall health and performance of your assigned category within Food Service.
You will:
- Take charge of the category vision and execution, working with leadership to hit sales, margin, and mix targets.
- Define and refine the product assortment, ensuring it matches customer needs while protecting profitability and availability.
- Lead day-to-day supplier engagement, from negotiations and cost discussions to promotions and joint business planning.
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to align pricing, inventory, demand forecasts, and trade activities.
- Monitor category performance, customer trends, and competitor moves, and turn data into actionable plans and recommendations.
In short, you are the go-to person: commercially focused, data-aware, and plugged into both the market and internal stakeholders.
Must-Have
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Food Service (HORECA) or FMCG.
- Solid track record in supplier management, commercial negotiations, and profitability management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and/or Marketing.
- Confident using reports and data to make decisions on pricing, portfolio, and promotions.
- Prior experience in Kuwait or the wider GCC market is a strong advantage.
