Our client is launching a new business school in Dubai, designed to set a new benchmark for academic excellence, governance, and global partnerships. This is a rare opportunity to join at the foundation stage and shape an institution from the ground up.
Role Overview
This is a founding leadership role where you will build and run the operational and governance engine of the institution. You will play a critical role in preparing the school for launch and scaling, covering accreditation readiness, academic operations, institutional governance, and external partnerships. This is a hands-on builder role with real accountability and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the school’s operating model, including policies, processes, and governance structures
- Lead and coordinate licensing and accreditation workstreams in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Develop organisational structure and hiring plans across faculty and administration
- Establish and manage board governance frameworks, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking
- Drive international partnerships including MoUs, dual degrees, and academic collaborations
- Support fundraising initiatives and external stakeholder engagement
Your Profile
- 15+ years of experience in higher education operations, academic administration, or institutional development
- Proven experience building institutional infrastructure in new or scaling environments
- Strong exposure to accreditation and licensing frameworks (UAE and/or international)
- Solid experience in board and committee governance
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
