Our Client
Our client is a major automotive group in Qatar with a significant installed vehicle base and a high-volume aftersales operation.
With scale already established, the business is now investing in stronger aftersales leadership to elevate customer retention, tighten service execution, and protect workshop and parts profitability. The expectation is not incremental improvement it is structured performance across the full aftersales engine.
Your Role
As After Sales Director, based in Qatar, you will own the complete aftersales operation across service, parts, bodyshop, warranty, and customer experience.
This is a commercial leadership role with full accountability. Performance, productivity, and service quality must move together.
You will:
- Lead aftersales strategy and daily operating rhythm
- Strengthen network standards and execution discipline
- Partner closely with the GM, Sales, Finance, and OEM stakeholders
- Drive consistent service standards and financial control across all aftersales functions
You will be accountable for:
- Aftersales revenue and gross profit performance across service and parts
- Customer retention, repeat visits, and loyalty improvement
- Workshop productivity, technician utilisation, efficiency, throughput, and capacity planning
- Parts availability, fill rate, inventory turns, and ageing stock control
- Warranty governance, claim quality, recovery optimisation, and OEM compliance
- Bodyshop performance including cycle time, insurer relationships, quality, and profitability
- Process discipline across booking, diagnosis, job card accuracy, upsell, and vehicle delivery
- Measurable improvements in CSI and NPS
- Leadership development across service, parts, and technical teams
- Safety, compliance, and audit readiness across all aftersales functions
Success will be defined by profitable growth, operational discipline, and a stronger customer experience built on execution — not theory.
Must-Have
We are looking for a proven aftersales leader with deep operational and commercial control.
You bring:
- 12+ years in automotive aftersales, including at least 5 years in senior leadership
- Proven ownership of service and parts P&L with consistent profitability delivery
- Strong command of workshop KPIs including utilisation, efficiency, recovery rate, WIP, and cycle time
- Strong command of parts KPIs including fill rate, inventory turns, ageing, and obsolescence control
- Solid warranty governance experience with OEM compliance and audit readiness
- Experience managing bodyshop operations (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated track record improving CSI or NPS while simultaneously lifting productivity
- A hands-on, high-accountability leadership style with strong people development capability
- Qatar market experience, with comfort operating in high-volume, high-expectation environments
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
This role requires an operator who understands that aftersales profitability is built on process discipline, KPI grip, and leadership consistency.
