Our Client:
A prominent player in the consumer goods industry with a strong presence across the Gulf, known for delivering quality products and category leadership. The company is seeking a commercially driven leader to oversee its sales, go-to-market, and trade marketing strategy based in Saudi Arabia while managing commercial performance across the GCC.
Role Overview:
This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L responsibility for the Saudi business, while also overseeing sales strategy, distributor performance, and market execution in key Gulf markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep regional experience, a passion for brand-building, and the ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national sales, trade marketing, and go-to-market strategy in Saudi Arabia.
- Oversee commercial performance across GCC markets, ensuring alignment with regional growth objectives.
- Design and optimize route-to-market models, including channel strategy, distributor management, and retail execution.
- Drive in-store visibility and campaign rollouts across modern and traditional trade formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams supply chain, pricing, category, and brand to ensure commercial alignment.
- Identify and activate new market opportunities, product extensions, and regional partnerships.
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with a strong performance culture.
- Negotiate trade terms and manage key customer relationships across the region.
Your Profile:
- 18+ years of experience in FMCG sales and marketing, with a proven track record in commercial leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s retail landscape and consumer dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial operations across multiple GCC markets.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and team leadership.
- Proven success in brand-building, innovation, and market expansion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Arabic language skills and prior experience in Saudi Arabia are highly preferred.
