Our Client: A distinguished consumer goods company, is on the lookout for a highly experienced finance professional with over 20 years of expertise in the consumer goods sector. This is a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned CFO to lead and direct strategic financial operations across multiple regions.

Your Role: As a strategic finance leader, you will be responsible for shaping the financial direction and ensuring it aligns with the company’s objectives. You will embed finance as a core function across all departments, acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and key functional heads.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support the company’s long-term goals across various regions.
Executive Partnership: Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, providing financial insights to drive decision-making.
Operational Oversight: Lead financial operations including cash flow management, treasury, tax, and revenue management, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to the Board.
Variance Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify variances from project plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor large finance teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Business Ventures: Evaluate and execute business ventures, internal growth strategies, and manage revenue streams effectively.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Oversee the due diligence process and play a critical role in the restructuring and acquisition of new businesses.
Corporate Governance: Ensure robust financial reporting, compliance, and governance practices across the organization.

Must-Have Qualifications

Professional Certification: CA/CPA/CMA qualification is essential.
Extensive Experience: 20+ years in finance roles within the consumer goods industry, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP implementation, working capital management, treasury management, strategy development, and risk management.
Global Perspective: Experience in managing finance operations across multiple geographies, with a willingness to work internationally.
Influence: Play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a leading consumer goods company.
