Our Client

Our client is a vast regional automotive trading and export platform operating at serious scale across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

This is not a dealership GM role.

The business manages significant vehicle volumes, multi-continent export flows, complex supplier ecosystems, and cross-border supply chains. With direct reporting to the Group CEO and board visibility, this mandate sits at the center of commercial performance and international growth.

The expectation is clear: scale revenue, expand markets, and protect margin — all at pace.

Your Role

As the senior commercial leader at group level, you will drive the commercial strategy across automotive trading verticals.

You will own:

  • Group-level commercial strategy across markets and automotive segments
  • Revenue growth with yield discipline — not volume at any cost
  • Market expansion across frontier and emerging economies
  • Global supplier negotiations with OEMs and trading partners
  • Inventory health, stock rotation, and working capital optimization
  • Performance governance across regions and business units

This is a high-impact role requiring deep understanding of automotive import/export mechanics, international vehicle flows, pricing discipline, and cross-border supply chain realities.

Your success will be measured by sustainable revenue growth, margin protection, and commercial control across multiple geographies.

Must-Have

We are looking for a proven international automotive commercial leader.

You bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in automotive commercial leadership
  • Strong exposure to international automotive trading and export models
  • Multi-market experience across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, or Asia
  • Proven P&L ownership at regional or group level
  • A track record of scaling revenue while protecting margin
  • Comfort operating in entrepreneurial, fast-growth environments

Most importantly, you understand how cross-border automotive trading truly works — from supplier negotiation through inventory risk to final market realization.

This is a build-and-scale mandate with real numbers, real pressure, and real opportunity.
