Our Client:
Our client is a fast-growing international food and FMCG business expanding its regional footprint from Dubai. As part of its growth journey across the GCC and international markets, the business is looking to strengthen its finance leadership capability with a commercially sharp and hands-on Financial Controller who can build robust financial governance while supporting business expansion.
Your Role:
As the Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function for the UAE entity while partnering closely with the CEO – International Business across strategic and operational finance matters. This role combines controllership, compliance, treasury, reporting, and commercial finance responsibilities within a fast-paced growth environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Managing UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, ESR, Transfer Pricing, and regulatory compliance
- Overseeing statutory audits, internal controls, and IFRS reporting standards
- Managing treasury activities, banking relationships, and working capital optimization
- Partnering with commercial teams on pricing, margins, trade spend, and profitability analysis
- Supporting India-UAE intercompany structures, reconciliations, and funding flows
- Driving finance process improvements, reporting discipline, and operational controls
- Building finance systems, dashboards, and governance frameworks to support growth
- Leading and developing the finance team while remaining operationally hands-on
Must-Have:
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualification is mandatory
- 10–15 years of progressive finance experience
- Minimum 5–7 years within UAE/GCC markets
- Strong exposure to UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, ESR, Transfer Pricing, and IFRS
- Experience within FMCG, food, consumer goods, or related sectors
- Strong controllership and commercial finance partnering capability
- Experience managing audits, treasury, compliance, and financial reporting
- Ability to operate effectively within entrepreneurial or high-growth environments
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
Good-to-Have:
- India-UAE intercompany or cross-border finance exposure
- Experience in distributor-led or trade-heavy business models
- ERP transformation or BI/dashboard reporting exposure
- MBA Finance as an added advantage
