Our Client: A leading player in the frozen food and meat processing industry is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead operations at their state-of-the-art facility. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation, the company is expanding its leadership team to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of factory operations from production and maintenance to supply chain and compliance. This role demands a hands-on leader with a strong engineering background and deep experience in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.
The GM will lead a large, multi-functional organization spanning manufacturing, sales, marketing, distribution, and shared services. The successful candidate will shape the business strategy, deliver strong P&L results, and build a high-performance culture aligned with group ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily production operations to ensure consistent output, quality, and cost control.
• Develop and implement factory strategies aligned with business goals and growth targets.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO, SFDA).
• Manage procurement and inventory to ensure uninterrupted raw material supply.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and efficiency, minimizing downtime and operational risk.
• Mentor and develop factory teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across supply chain, quality, and finance to ensure alignment.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Food Processing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in plant or factory management within the frozen food or meat industry.
• Proven expertise in production planning, quality assurance, and supply chain optimization.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
• Familiarity with automation, lean manufacturing, and maintenance protocols.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and audit processes in food manufacturing.
