Job Description
Our Client:
A leading regional player in the consumer goods industry, recognized for its strong market presence and commitment to brand innovation.
Your Role
This isn’t marketing theatre. You’ll be responsible for driving real business outcomes — from strategy to shelf.
You will:
- Shape the growth agenda across brand, innovation, GTM, and channel strategies — working closely with the CEO to challenge legacy thinking and unlock sustainable expansion.
- Lead the marketing ecosystem — brand, digital, trade, insights, and category teams — into a new era of performance and creativity.
- Drive innovation that’s functional, shelf-ready, and informed by consumer demand—not internal wish lists.
- Make marketing accountable — clear ROI tracking, bold creative decisions, and no tolerance for campaigns that don’t convert.
- Unlock new growth doors: Horeca, D2C, strategic partnerships, new markets, smart adjacencies.
- Keep us two steps ahead on regulatory and ESG standards — especially in SFDA-regulated categories.
- Build a team that scales — one that doesn’t wait for permission but delivers with discipline and autonomy.
This is a role for someone who can steer at the 30,000-foot view but still knows when to get their hands in the data, decks, or pricing sheets.
Your Profile
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 18+ years in marketing, innovation, or commercial strategy — with a proven track record of execution, not just planning.
- Sector Depth: Deep exposure to food, beverage, or health-focused FMCG — ideally with operational knowledge of the KSA/GCC landscape.
- Strategic Acumen: You think beyond brand to portfolio mix, channel margin, pricing architecture, and long-term positioning.
- Innovation Chops: You’ve launched hits (and dropped flops), ideally in regulated categories.
- Digital Competence: Solid understanding of how CRM, paid media, and performance loops contribute to growth — no fluff.
- Regulatory Fluency: Comfortable navigating SFDA, clean-label compliance, and emerging ESG mandates.
- Leadership Style: Low ego, high ownership. You coach teams to perform — and take accountability when it counts.
- Languages: English is a must. Arabic is a strong plus — both for strategic clarity and cultural fluency.
- Education: MBA welcome. Sharp thinking and commercial judgment matter more.
