Our Client:
A well-established player in the food industry. With a robust portfolio and a growing footprint, they are now looking to bring on board a Supply Chain Director who understands the intricacies of manufacturing and the strategic levers of end-to-end supply chain operations.
Role Overview:
As Supply Chain Director, you will oversee the full supply chain spectrum—procurement, planning, production, logistics, and distribution—with a focus on driving efficiency, resilience, and scalability. This role requires hands-on experience in food manufacturing and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
You will work closely with commercial and manufacturing teams to align supply chain capabilities with business growth, innovation, and sustainability goals. From S&OP to supplier partnerships, factory footprint optimization to freight strategy, you will be at the forefront of operational excellence. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and works closely with both the COO and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to align supply chain strategy with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, production planning, logistics, and warehousing
- Drive strategic initiatives such as S&OP, supplier partnerships, and factory footprint optimization
- Ensure alignment of supply chain capabilities with business growth and sustainability goals
- Oversee cold chain logistics and halal operations
- Implement and optimize ERP systems and digital supply chain tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and cost/service trade-offs
- Report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with the CEO
Your Profile:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain and operations, ideally within the frozen food industry
- Deep understanding of cold chain logistics, halal operations, inventory planning, and digital supply chain tools
- Proven success in leading regional supply chain transformations and ERP implementations
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and plant operations
- Demonstrated leadership in managing procurement, production planning, logistics, and warehousing
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
