Leading the legal department for the region you would provide overall direction, guidelines for organizational strategy. You will manage relationships with key executives, business partners and stakeholders: Managing Legal and compliance department for the MENA region, translates into relevant legal topics, directs resources to address legal issues and needs. Coordinating with legal staff; gets staff input make legal priority and trade-off decisions. Assisting with legal aspects of sales and procurement contracts: revises/monitors disclaimer, terms and conditions on forms, invoices. Proven ability to negotiate and draft commercial contracts. Drafting large commercial contracts with third parties and / or suppliers. Development and production of formal legal and regulatory related documentation (e.g. customer agreements, legal opinions, policy documents, procedures, business communications etc.)

Experience in FMCG industry preferred with a minimum of 10 + years of experience with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as you will engage with senior management, executive board members and key stakeholders. You will have a proven track record of successfully advising board members and senior stakeholders on a range of legal matters. Clear and timely decision-making skills, making those decisions based on the judgement after considering all facts, risks, constraints and options. This includes expecting and understanding the consequences of the decisions and taking responsibility for the implications of the action taken. Fluency in ARABIC is an absolute must-have.
