10 years of sales experience in the food service channel within an FMCG organization. Leadership experience would be an added advantage. Must be currently based in UAE with a proven track record of developing business.
The client is looking for a seasoned mature professional with his hand on the pulse of the food service industry, capable of setting the strategy and the glide path for the next 5 years you would be expected to treble in business in the coming few years. Pragmatic/strategic and innovative are the key enablers for success in this role. You will lead the overall sales strategy of the BU – assigned areas and routes. Monitoring daily activities of salesmen and following up on sales progress and accomplishments, Establishing and maintaining good contact with all customers, Getting actively involved in operation of route management, Updating the HQ with monthly status reports as well as sales achievements and competitor activities. Your main agenda would be to do the due diligence on the current set up, prepare the strategy for growth and expansion, looking at the current portfolio and drive innovation to capture niche market segments.
