You would be the “guru”in leading a team, managing external vendors and building ROI / Optimization. Key attributes – would be the ability to challenge assumptions based on insights and piloting breakthrough initiatives. Exposure to New business model creation, business optimization and shopper marketing is essential. You should have effectively partnered leadership teams to drive change initiatives . Will be accountable for transforming consumer, shopper & customer insights into a source of competitive advantage for the unit and for driving the voice of the customer into all decision making forums. Interacting closely with the strategic directors of each key function, Ensuring the brands win in the market with more effective communication, better marketing mix and effective pricing. Identifying key drivers to improve in market and in-store presence by winning over shoppers & customers choices through superior understanding of trends & needs. Lead Business optimization by leveraging ROI insights into Trade Spend, establish pricing corridors and Media spend transformation. Leads the use of syndicated data, Nielsen Retail Panel, Home Panel, and Equity tracking, along with key quantitative and qualitative adhocs . Lead deep dive insightful engagements to address business priorities. Your track record should demonstrate experience in driving insights into actionable results with a clear indication of the ROI created.
A relatively lean structure calls for an agile, ambitious individual open to working in a fast paced environment. Minimum 8 years of market research/consumer-shopper insights experience within a FMCG set up either at the company side or with a reputed market research firm. Middle East region experience is necessary irrespective of the base location.
