Organized and able to independently manage multiple ledgers under strict deadlines Proven ability to understand, streamline and automate complex processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with ability to run pivot tables, data validations, charts, and advanced formulas in Excel. Knowledge of accounting and reporting software; preferred application skills include proficiency in Global ERP such as Oracle, Essbase, etc. Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You as the accounting manager will primarily be responsible for the regional completeness and accuracy of the EMEA General Ledger transactions and Consolidate Balance Sheet accounts balances for the region. The Accounting Manager will be heavily involved in month-end close and annual audits of the region. The position interfaces heavily with the accounting and financial reporting and other business units finance functions. The position will manage and oversee headquarter accounting and other functional areas including AP, AR, general ledger, and audit support.
