3-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, previous experience in medical insurance would be an asset.Prior working experience of VAT is a plus.
Must have strong analytical skills; Solid understanding of accounting principles. Knowledge of accounting software is a plus Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Strong MS Excel skills and ability to use Outlook, Word & PowerPoint. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge in French is an added advantage.
You will ideally manage journal entries, general ledger operations, reports and process premiums. The incumbent should be able to measure actual performance vs budget, maintain proper books of accounts, maintain the accounting system and deals with bank reconciliations. You will be required to prepare and maintain budget, monitor cash flows, financial statement and identify the areas of cost reduction; understand and follow company rules and regulations and perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
