Your role: The Van Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations of a retail establishment, specifically focused on the “shop within a shop” concept. Drive the daily sales operations of the distributor team, design the annual channel plans while keeping the profitability level, and ensure that the sales objectives & activities are carried out. oversees the day-to-day activities of sales to make ensuring that work processes are carried out as intended and in compliance with defined policies, processes, and procedures. Direct distribution, efficient management of a large van sales operation, negotiating trade contracts with some of the bigger players, sales forecasting and planning are all areas where you need to have a stellar track record. You would be required to devise and implement strategies to enhance sales and distribution, aggressively build the capabilities within the present team, and create win-win solutions with the bigger dealers.
Must haves: Minimum experience of 4+ years in FMCG companies within the Saudi market. Must have a proven track record of increasing sales volume, should have managed distributor teams, and must be enthusiastic and open to learning. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers agreeing on processes & measurements where/when necessary. Exceptional communication skills.
