Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Manager for HORECA Channel Development. This role is pivotal in establishing, nurturing, and expanding footprint within the HORECA sector in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Sales Director , the successful candidate will be the HORECA champion, driving strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy and Development:
- Design and execute a comprehensive HORECA strategy in line with the company’s objectives.
- Identify and map potential HORECA partners, creating targeted pitches and proposals.
Sales and Partnership Building:
- Foster relationships with key decision-makers within hotels, restaurants, and catering establishments.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutual profitability and alignment with brand standards.
Market Insights:
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the HORECA sector.
Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure alignment with HORECA needs.
Performance Tracking:
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and KPIs for the HORECA channel.
- Regularly report on sales performance and market feedback to senior leadership.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the HORECA sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the required skills and knowledge.
- Foster a performance-driven culture within the team.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting the HORECA sector.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery to HORECA clients.
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA being a plus.
- Minimum of 10+ experience in sales or business development within the HORECA sector, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian foodservice sector and its dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to forge meaningful partnerships and drive sales growth.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in Arabic and English.
