Role Overview: The Sales Planning Analyst will support the Group Manager in driving data-driven business decisions. This role focuses on analyzing sales forecasts, monitoring market trends, and ensuring alignment between production and sales teams. The analyst will play a key role in identifying performance gaps, conducting variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to optimize business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data and trends to support accurate sales forecasts.
  • Demand Planning: Assist in developing demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with production and supply chain teams.
  • Forecast Support: Assist in maintaining and refining sales and demand forecasts using analytical tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure alignment on demand and supply.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports on forecast accuracy and business performance.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between forecasts and actual results, offering insights for improvement.
  • Data Management: Maintain and optimize data systems and forecasting tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Market Insights: Monitor market trends, customer demand patterns, and competitor activities to support business planning.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting processes and data analysis methodologies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in forecasts and develop mitigation strategies.

Your Profile:

  • Preferably Masters Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales analysis, demand planning, risk assessment, or business analytics within the manufacturing or automotive sector.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
