Position Overview: As the Perfect Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving shopper and consumer insights and aligning them with the marketing and sales agenda. You will be at the forefront of creating a compelling picture of success for our Retail Environments (REs) and customers. This role carries accountability for translating category strategies into the perfect store agenda, spanning multiple categories. You will take ownership of the process, governance, and communication of the Picture of Success across retail environments and categories. Your responsibilities will also include defining in-store point-of-sale (POS) and shopper marketing initiatives to advance the in-store agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shopper and Consumer Insights:
    • Gather and analyze shopper and consumer insights to inform marketing and sales strategies.
    • Use data-driven insights to enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth.
  1. Picture of Success Leadership:
    • Lead the development of a clear and compelling Picture of Success for Retail Environments (REs) and customers.
    • Ensure alignment of the picture of success with category strategies.
  1. Cross-Category Expertise:
    • Translate category strategies into the perfect store agenda, spanning multiple categories.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure category-specific goals are met.
  1. Process Ownership:
    • Take ownership of the process for defining and implementing the perfect store agenda.
    • Establish and maintain governance frameworks to guide decision-making.
  1. Communication:
    • Effectively communicate the Picture of Success across retail environments and categories.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  1. In-Store POS and Shopper Marketing:
    • Define and implement in-store point-of-sale (POS) strategies to enhance product visibility and shopper engagement.
    • Develop shopper marketing initiatives that drive sales and brand loyalty.


  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving shopper insights, perfect store agendas, and in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Category Expertise: Strong understanding of the retail and consumer goods industry, with experience across multiple categories.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from shopper and consumer data.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
  • Strategic Thinker: A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute plans that align with broader business objectives.
  • Process-Oriented: Strong process management and governance skills, ensuring effective execution of strategies.
