Your role : As the Modern Trade Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to maximize our presence and revenue in modern trade channels. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, building strong relationships with retailers, and driving sales performance in this rapidly evolving sector. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of modern trade dynamics, a strategic mindset, and a passion for achieving exceptional results. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies specifically tailored to modern trade channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market dynamics.
Identify and prioritize target accounts and retail partners, leveraging market insights, consumer trends, and competitor analysis to drive market share and revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at modern trade retailers, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our company. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, category management, and supply chain, to develop customized trade promotions, marketing campaigns, and supply plans that maximize sales opportunities. Conduct regular business reviews with retailers, analyzing sales data, promotional effectiveness, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Negotiate favorable terms of trade, pricing agreements, and trade marketing investments with retail partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships. Monitor and evaluate market and competitor activities, providing timely insights and recommendations to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging trends. Analyze and forecast sales performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop action plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to optimize their performance and foster a culture of excellence.
Must have : Carrying 8+ years of experience in managing key accounts, you should have led on Joint business planning and managed teams. In-depth understanding of modern trade dynamics, retail operations, category management, and trade marketing strategies.
