Your Role: The role of a Digital Transformation Consultant demands a professional with over a decade of experience in the field. This experience should encompass the development and execution of IT strategies and digital transformation initiatives. A comprehensive understanding of IT governance standards like COBIT, and expertise in implementing these standards, is crucial. Similarly, a strong grasp of enterprise architecture standards such as TOGAF, along with practical experience in their implementation, is required. The consultant should possess adept project management skills, demonstrated by a successful track record of leading intricate digital transformation projects.
Must Haves: 10+ years of experience in the IT field. They involve the continuous upkeep and execution of the digital transformation strategy and its corresponding roadmap. Crafting requests for proposals (RFPs) pertaining to the digital transformation agenda and subsequently overseeing their execution is a key task. The consultant is expected to evaluate solutions offered by vendors and ensure the proposed solutions meet high-quality standards. Developing, executing, and managing IT objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and a service catalogue fall within the purview of this role. Furthermore, the consultant will be tasked with generating diverse reports covering the implementation of the digital strategy, return on investment (ROI), IT KPIs, goals achieved, and more. In essence, the Digital Transformation Consultant is instrumental in driving and overseeing the strategic transition of an organization into the digital realm.
