Our Client: A leading FMCG company in Iraq is seeking to hire an HRBP for their business operation in Baghdad.
Your Role: To initiate the process, they require a visionary leader who can envision a broader perspective while actively engaging in the practical aspects to ensure alignment of each business unit with organizational requirements. Your main responsibility will be to spearhead and execute people strategies, collaborate with business leaders, and act as a trusted advisor to various business units. The role involves promoting excellence in workforce and succession planning, as well as initiating talent development programs to cultivate a robust pool of skilled employees. You will offer guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and strategies for improving performance. Take the lead in supporting organizational change initiatives and provide expertise in change management strategies. Ensure adherence to both local and international labor laws and regulations.
Must Haves: Minimum of 7 years of HR expertise; you should possess the capability to articulate a unified vision for culture and people operations, effectively conveying it across all organizational levels. Exceptional communication skills are paramount for success in this role. Your interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching skills should be outstanding, coupled with a keen awareness of the challenges inherent in a rapidly growing company. Ideally, you will hold a degree and possess relevant HR qualifications. Previous experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry would be advantageous for this position. Given the nature of the role, preference will be given to local candidates.
