Our client- A consumer durables company in Saudi is looking for a Head of IT Strategy, Budget and Vendor Management
Your role -We are actively seeking a highly skilled Head of IT Strategy, Budget, and Vendor Management to join our dynamic consumer durables company based in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic IT initiatives, managing budgets efficiently, and overseeing vital vendor relationships. The core focus will be aligning IT strategies with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in IT leadership, possessing strategic insight and expertise in vendor management to enhance IT excellence within our organization. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive IT strategies, optimizing budget allocation, and ensuring efficient vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for maintaining our IT technology roadmap, implementing governance frameworks, managing risks, and fostering clear communication with stakeholders. Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and leading a talented team of IT professionals will be central to this role.
Must Haves:The ideal candidate for the position of Head of IT Strategy, Budget, and Vendor Management must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Essential to this role is a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership positions, encompassing IT strategy, budget management, and vendor relations. In-depth knowledge of consumer durables industry trends and IT best practices is imperative. The successful candidate should possess outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with a proven track record in effectively managing IT budgets and vendor relationships. Strong project management expertise and a familiarity with IT governance and compliance are prerequisites. While not mandatory, relevant industry certifications such as ITIL or PMP are considered advantageous. These must-have qualifications underpin the core requirements for this role and are instrumental in ensuring a candidate’s suitability.
