Our client: On behalf of our client an eminent name in the kingdom, we are looking for a Head of Finance in a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of a group of companies or a conglomerate. This position plays a critical role in driving the financial strategy, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization’s overall objectives.
Your role: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the group’s objectives. Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the group. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities to enhance financial performance. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for the group. Analyze financial data and present insights to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets. Monitor and optimize cash flow across the group’s entities. Develop and implement strategies to minimize financial risks and maximize liquidity. Coordinate with treasury and banking institutions to manage funding requirements. Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations to optimize returns. Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial integration for acquisitions or new ventures. Partner with executive management, board members, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other relevant external parties.
Must haves: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable. Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in progressively responsible finance roles, with a focus on financial planning, analysis, and management. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proven track record of leading and managing a finance team. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability. Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
