Our client: is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join their dynamic organization and oversee the financial operations of their group of restaurants. You will collaborate closely with senior management, operational teams, and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance and drive the long-term success of our restaurant group.

Your role: Develop and execute financial strategies and plans to support the growth objectives of the restaurant group. Collaborate with senior management to establish financial goals, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met. Oversee the preparation, analysis, and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct thorough financial analysis, interpret data, and provide key insights to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and analyse financial KPIs, such as revenue, expenses, and profitability, to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Lead the annual budgeting process and provide guidance to department heads regarding financial goals and cost controls. Develop and implement effective cost management strategies, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficiency across all restaurant locations. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of actual financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures as needed. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing. Continuously assess and enhance the team’s capabilities, identifying training needs and implementing appropriate development programs.

Must-haves: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA qualification is highly desirable. Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar leadership role within the central kitchen/cloud kitchen industry. In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, particularly within the restaurant sector. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience with financial software systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
