Your role : We are in search of a Dairy Farm Director who will be responsible for supervising farm operations, leading the team, and ensuring the continual growth and success of the farm. The primary focus of the Farm Director will be the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial and operational strategy for the farms. This role requires a strong leader with a solid technical and operational background, who will oversee and monitor the performance of various functions within the farm. The incumbent will establish the feed strategy for the herd, ensuring both productivity and physicochemical quality are in line with international standards, and will be responsible for herd management. Furthermore, the incumbent will be accountable for designing and executing the long-term and short-term strategies for the farm, along with assuming full responsibility for the farm’s P&L. Moreover, you will take charge of the overall management and leadership of the farm. Your key role will involve ensuring efficient operations all while upholding the utmost standards of animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.
Must have :The ideal candidate should possess a demonstrated track record in livestock farm management, encompassing herd oversight and team leadership, alongside deep expertise in farming practices, including animal nutrition and health management. Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in financial and budget management while maintaining a steadfast commitment to animal welfare, sustainable farming, and environmental conservation. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are also essential qualifications for this role.
