Our Client: is a leading company in the consumer durable industry, operating in the Middle East market with a strong presence in the UAE and KSA. As they embark on an expansion journey, they are seeking a Factory Manager to oversee their manufacturing operations.
The role: As the Factory Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of the manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining stringent quality standards, managing production planning, organizing workforce, and driving productivity. Responsible for the entire production process, including planning, machine maintenance, and ensuring productivity. Overseeing a workforce of 300+ employees in the manufacturing department. Striving to reduce expenses while increasing productivity across all product lines. Implementing cost control measures to minimize wastage and operating costs. Ensuring that all employees follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines. Setting ambitious production goals and effectively communicating them to key personnel. Providing motivation, support, and guidance to all employees to achieve targets. Establishing workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or quality. Familiarity with ISO audits and other statutory audits relevant to factory operations. Leading a team of workforce, including Supervisors in the Mattress factory, Foam factory, and Saudi Factory. Coordinating with all department heads to meet monthly production targets. Overseeing the purchase of materials on time and sourcing raw materials efficiently. Vendor rating, vendor development, and achieving savings in raw material purchases. Implementing various methods, procedures, and systems to enhance department-wise efficiency levels. Exploring opportunities for sourcing alternate raw materials to improve quality and reduce costs.
Must-haves: A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least the last 5 years in a role as a Production Manager in a medium-sized factory with a workforce of at least 300 employees. Proven experience in manufacturing processes and production planning is essential. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and communicate with a diverse workforce. Hindi speaker is preferred.
