Job Description

We are looking for a Deputy General Manager with a solid finance background and extensive experience in cross-functional leadership. This role is pivotal role in our client a (process manufacturing) organization, not just in financial oversight but in steering the entire operations of the company towards sustained growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership across all departments, including Finance, Production, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources.
Formulate and implement comprehensive strategies to boost profitability, efficiency, and productivity across the company.
Lead the Finance department, ensuring robust financial strategies, accurate budgeting, effective forecasting, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Identify and exploit new business opportunities, such as market expansion, strategic partnerships, and product development initiatives.
Ensure adherence to industry-specific financial regulations and uphold high standards of corporate governance.
Promote synergy and collaboration across different departments to achieve unified corporate objectives.
Actively manage and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Make critical corporate decisions regarding investments, mergers, partnerships, and other strategic alliances.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and industry regulators.
Drive a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and ongoing professional development within the organization.
Must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a similar qualification.
Significant experience in finance within the manufacturing sector, with a particular emphasis on the cement industry.
Proven track record of leading and managing multiple departments.
Strong skills in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to a dynamic business environment and evolving industry challenges.
