Job Description

Our Client

A leading FMCG player with a long-standing market presence, now in the midst of an ambitious transformation, modernizing operations, investing in smart manufacturing and analytics, and building a future-ready, insight-led business to drive regional growth.

Role Overview

This role builds the analytics backbone of the organization. You will transform raw data from core systems into well‑designed, user‑friendly dashboards and models that allow teams across operations, finance and commercial to make smarter, faster decisions.

  • Serve as the go-to expert for Power BI and data modeling, owning dashboards and insights relied upon daily by leadership and frontline teams.
  • Lead end-to-end BI initiatives — from extracting and structuring data across complex ERP and operational systems to building intuitive visualizations that drive clear business action.
  • Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and finance stakeholders, delivering analytics that directly influence cost optimization, service levels, profitability, and growth.
  • Play a critical role in the organization’s digital and data transformation journey, modernizing reporting practices and enabling the shift from manual, fragmented processes to a scalable, self-service analytics culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI for operational, financial and commercial stakeholders.
  • Build robust semantic data models (including star schemas, relationships and hierarchies) that support scalable self‑service analytics.
  • Write efficient DAX measures and calculations to deliver accurate KPIs, time‑series metrics and analytical views.
  • Extract, transform and consolidate data from ERP and other enterprise systems; write and optimize SQL queries for analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity by validating inputs, reconciling across systems and documenting data definitions and business rules.
  • Translate business questions into technical requirements and analytical solutions; educate users on how to interpret and use dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reports and streamline existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to data standards, governance and documentation to ensure that data assets are understandable, maintainable and reusable.

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis or BI, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service).
  • Demonstrated experience with DAX, data modeling and building production dashboards used by business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience working with ERP data (e.g., from large transactional systems) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a high bar for data accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to explain complex data and analytical findings in a clear, non‑technical way.
  • Proactive, self‑driven mindset and comfort working in environments where data and processes are still maturing.
